CHRISTMAS GARLAND GREETINGS

This afternoon I prepared a Christmas greetings to all my blog visitors using gel pens and water colours in my moleskin sketchbook. The angels are copies of two glass figures I have decorating my fireplace at this time of the year .

as there has been a problem with enlarging the original image I have edited this post and added the garland as two separate pages and hopefully they will enlarge.

Wishing you all happiness at Christmas and throughout the coming Year. ...
and thank you for all your encouragement and support throughout 2008.

I love that. I think I'll do a Father Christmas for my blog.

Thanks Sandy. Glad you liked it but disappointingly the image wont enlarge for some reason so that you could see in more detail the holly, ivy, mistletoe, Christmas tree branches , poinsiettas and cones that make up the garland , well alone the little church on the hill and the angels... or did you manage to open the link?

Look forward to seeing Father Christmas Robert.

This is sumptuously gorgeous! Unfortunately, I could not enlarge it at this end either...Pressed my nose to the screen to see detail though! LOL :)...I can only imagine it in person! Be blessed this season Joannie! :)

Dear Joan,

What a beautiful illustration! I love it so very much. I bought some gel pens a while ago, but hadn't thought to use them over watercolor! Thank you, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
