VOODOO SPECS

Well, I have collected my new specs. They are pearly pink inside and on edges and deep plum on the outside with the lovely daisy motif and the word of the manufacturers VOODOO down the arm - really suit zany spiritualist me!! They are so smooth and comfy on I am delighted.

So I thought it was about time I used an up to date photo in My Profile wearing my new specs. This is one I shall use taken in doors and guessing as I held the camera up and away from me. Now you can see all the lines, the uneven teeth and triple chins - so I'll now confess to my blogger pals not bad for 73 next month!!!

I think your photo is a bit plum colored, Joan - but other than that, you are right NOT BAD AT ALL for 73! I never would have guessed your age. And the new specs are rockin!

Must be my pink glasses Rhonda!!! no actually it was taken in poor light and the flash must have created the warm colour - I am not a drinker so its not a ruddy complexion from booze!!

Whoa! You look WAY YOUNGER than 73...good camera, right? Just kidding. you look MUCh younger than 73. And you paint beautifully so go get a new masterpiece created wearing your new specs. Have a good weekend, too;-)

Ahh, you're just a baby. Now my son Mark was born a little old man and he raised me the best he could.

What am I saying, it must be your Voodoo Glasses!

Great new picture. Glad you got the new glasses. Does that mean you can now see your work? Happpy early birthday. My hubby's birthday is Feb 2. Mine coming up soon and it's a big one I dread.

I would never have believed 73! Love the glasses. I really need to get my eyes tested - have had glasses for years but never wear them. Tried them on the other day to find they didn't make the slightest difference! Do wonder if my paintings might improve if I could see the canvas!

I'm now wondering why I revealed my old age to all my pals on blogger - maybe I wanted to read all these lovely comments that have come back. Most times I still feel a kid at heart. Lucky me - fit, happy, time to create and teach, chat (hours on end on the phone with Anita or my daughter or my sister in law), good husband, lovely home and lots of art projects, loads of lovely blogger friends. What more could I ask. ?? Oh yes, my new specs so I can see what I'm painting!!
